Performance: Body cocoon 1, MF003
For the first 8 weeks of this module we were still in lockdown. It gradually eased and we were able to travel further afield. This series of performances is a development of part of my Selected work, Self : Body cocoon which I submitted for the last assessment in May, MF002. Since then I've knitted two more Body cocoons and am now working on the fourth. For more details see Knitting: practice-led research. Each piece has a different form and is knitted in different colours. None of them are wearble in a conventional way, as they're cocoon-like.
