Punchdrunk
On Punchdrunk's website it says 'We create unique experiences that take you to another world.'
I've experienced a few of their immersive experiences and they have all been wonderful. Two were promenade theatre, Sleep no more and The Drowned Man. The other was an immersive art and music experience, Beyond the Road, which Punchdrunk did in collaboration with James Lavelle of Unkle.
For Sleep no more and The Drowned Man, the audience were required to wear plastic masks like this:

The masks made the whole experience especially chilling as whenever you saw a scene of the play it was often with a backdrop of masked watchers. The actors didn't wear them. It was very powerful.. The masks made everyone anonymous.
