Metal sculpture 5,

I decided to make a fifth sculpture for my Parts of me assemblage. It was partly because I prefer an odd number of sculptures and partly because I wanted to be making again. Also, I've been casting my feet again, this time in concrete, so I wanted to have enough metal sculptures for the new feet too. This form is taken from one of the performances in the wood with Body cocoon 1.
I made this one slightly differently, without a stabilising bar at the top of the legs. It's also my height, ie the parallel 'leg' pieces go to the ground. It's actually very wonky, but I have decided that getting the sculptural assemblages to stand isn't necessary. I think that balancing and suspending them has added meaning. It does however, mean that the other 4 metal sculptures won't fit into the new feet. I don't feel that matters. Maybe they will become another series? Maybe they'll be part of the original series? Time will tell.
Here I also stood the sculpture in my first pair of concrete feet. I think it looks fine, but I did have to lean the metal form against the wall to get it to stand! I also tried draping it with Body cocoon 4. Have a look at the photos here. I am now in the process of making Body cocoon 5.
